Your First Visit to Our North Ridgeville Practice

New patient filling out paperwork

When you first arrive there will be some brief paperwork to complete.

When you enter our office on your first visit, you will be greeted by our friendly staff who will ask you to fill out a health history form, and will ask to make copies of your health insurance card. This insurance information will be used to verify your insurance so that you are aware of the cost of your treatment upfront.

If you have injuries from an accident or work injury we have all the necessary forms to file your claim, and you don’t need a referral. These cases are usually covered 100%. Bring any information you have pertaining to your injury.

Once you have filled out your health history form you will be escorted to doctor’s office to sit down for a consultation to discuss your current physical complaint and any other health concerns you may have.

Next you will enter the exam room, where the doctor will perform a thorough examination, and then take any necessary x-rays to aid in determining the cause of your problem.

You may receive same day therapy, but the doctor usually does not adjust until the next visit so that he has ample time to look at your x-rays, and exam findings.

At the completion of your first visit you will make an appointment to receive your report of findings, usually the next business day. Usually this takes about 30-40 minutes.

Your Second Visit to Our North Ridgeville Practice

Report of findings

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

On your second visit, the doctor will review his findings, including your x-rays. He will then tell you what your problem is, whether he can help you, and review the cost for your treatment. The doctor will review your treatment plan, and discuss your health and wellness goals.

You will then receive your chiropractic adjustment, and therapies.

After this second visit, you will make your next appointments, based on your individual treatment plan. The staff will also go over your insurance information on this visit. Usually this takes about 30-40 minutes.

Regular Visits

Avoid relapse with regular visits.

After the investment of time needed on the first and second visits, many patients become concerned that every visit will be of equal length.

On a typical office visit you will sign in and rate your areas of pain on your sign-in sheet so that the doctor knows how you are doing. You will be escorted back for your adjustments and treatments.

These subsequent treatment visits are usually completed in 20-30 minutes.
